The Camry's base LE trim includes automatic headlights, heated mirrors, keyless entry, a 6.1-inch Entune infotainment interface with rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, Siri Eyes Free, and more. The Malibu's bare-bones L trim looks quite austere in comparison.
• Performance: Under the hood, the Camry simply has more motivation than the Malibu. Standard on the Camry is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 178 horsepower. Malibu lags behind with a 160-horsepower 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Both models have more powerful options, but unfortunately for Malibu, it's the same story. The Camry's 3.5-liter V-6 produces 268 horsepower, beating the 250 horsepower of the Malibu's turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder.
• Reputation: Here's something you can't put a price on. Quite simply, with Camry, you get the backing of Toyota's legendary brand, and a long history of quality and reliability.
